The following are mistakes found in the version of notes-2.pdf dated
September 14, 2006:


In Definition 3.1 on page 1, ``finite'' in the first sentence should

In Definition 3.5 on page 1, ``countable'' in the first sentence and
``countably infinite'' in the second should be in bold face. [mrd,

In the proof of Theorem 3.12 on page 2, the ``Q'' in the first
sentence should be in bold face instead of italicized. [mrd,
